It's a great time of year to visit Boston. Boston is a small, very walkable city. During the day, wear some comfy shoes and head out. So many areas worth seeing:

Newbury St - high end fashion, great people watching
Public Gardens/Boston Common, beatiful gardens. Great place to chill out for a bit.
Faneuil Hall - touristy, but fun. Great outdoor bars and restaurants in the area.
Waterfront over to North End. If you have time, the North End is a great place to visit. Boston's "Little Italy" is full of great restaurants and cafes.

For clubs, some good options include Boylston Pl - there are about 6 different clubs on that street, something to suit everyone. Lansdowne St (Fenway Park) is also hopping at night w/a bunch of bars and clubs in the area.

If you get lucky and can score some tickets, a Sox game is a true Boston experience!

The weather has been really nice lately -- 70 to 80 degrees. The leaves are already coming out on the trees and the lilacs and rhododendrons are already in bloom.

If you are not familiar with the city, stick to the bars and night clubs that are in Boston proper.

Man, it is hot in Boston! Night clubs, uh, well, not really my thing, but I've heard of Avalon and stuff, but I would much rather see a show, those are really fun. I went to see "Shear Madness" recently, it was hilarious! Also, like many others said, Fanueil Hall is touristy but fun.
