Does anyone have any ideas where the 1905 herschell-spillman carousel is now located ?It used to be located inside the Edgewater Packing company restaraunt-family fun center in Monterey at Cannery Row in Monterey,California. I bought 2 tickets to see the symphony in Cincinnati, prices ranged from almost $100 for box seats and $18 for nosebleed... and then there was XTREME seats for $12... so I selected 2 of those to see what they were, and it gave me 2 floor tickets for $12 each... these are normally about $75 each. I went ahead and bought them...

So what the hell did I just buy? Do I have to fight for my seats or something? Does anyone know what xtreme seats are and why they're so cheap?

They're not student seats, cause that was a separate option.

My friends and I havent had the time to hang out, and whenever we do its always the same old boring dinner party. I live in Chicago and many times ask them to come up with ideas that involves going out. The thing is, all my friends are different: One likes to explore a lot, the other likes to go out in the daytime, and the other doesn't want to spend too much...Now, I need ideas about things to see and places to have fun in the Chicagoland area? Any ideas, fascinating restaurants, cultural centers, outdoor activities? Thanks!

I'm going to a concert there soon but, can't say i've been there before. It'd be nice to know what would be worth bringing.

What the hell, man? I don't get it. It's like the most sprawl I've ever seen. Strip mall after boring strip mall. Lived here for 9 months now. What's so "weird" about Austin? Is it the "music scene" which consists of basically mediocre musicians? I just don't get what all the hype is for.
Way disappointed. Where's the character in this city? All I see are strip malls. The "cool" places are tiny little pockets dispersed within the city that takes a freakin' hour to go to because of all the traffic and god willing you don't get run down by a 16 story SUV with a desperate housewife behind the wheel on the way there. I know this sounds really cynical, but, I just don't get the "weirdness".

I heard in a friendly discussion that prostitution is legal in Vegas, like at cat houses and such. I didn't think that was true, but maybe so. What do you think?

I'm going to stay in Vegas on a Sunday night and want a room with a nice size jacuzzi tub in it (one that can fit 2). I want something really romantic. I looked into Mandalay Bay and am considering their spa suite (210) or even the vista suite w/360 views of the strip (510). The penthouse suite at the mirage is only 400 though. I can get a spa suite at Monte Carlo for 350. Anyone ever stayed in any of these? Which would you recommend? Also looking for a nice romantic place to eat that night where I can order a steak.

I'm going up to Great Lakes for a graduation, and my train drops me off in (I think) Downtown Chicago. It's the Amtrak station. I'm really nervous, because I have to walk outside to get to the METRA station with luggage, and I'm really afraid I'll get mugged..

Is there anything I could keep in mind? I've never ever been to a big city like that, except for NYC during Christmas, and I was with a group. I'll be on my own this time. What if I scratch my nose, and that's the secret gang symbol for murder, haha?

I'm a young white female, normal build, will that get me into trouble? Do you guys have any tips for me? This is my first time traveling alone, and I'm just worried. Thanks. =)

Hi I was interested in moving to Kendall I may have a Job offer making about 34,000 a year. I lived in Fort Lauderdale for 3 years and liked it. I have friends in Kendall and I have been looking at apartments for about 800s or so. Is Kendall a decent area to live and worth it? I know it isn't much of a night life but I am not interested in that. No I don't speak spanish and I am a single white male. Just given all the details. Thanks

West Road seems to be in the Greenspoint area. But I saw on the map that there was a West Road that was close to Hwy.6, and someone said that Hwy. 6 was a nice place to live.
