I have lived in S.D. for a long time and I've heard it refererred to. (Apparently some were watching the fires burn on Mt. San Miguel.) I can't find it on Thomas Bros.

Dictionary Hill is on the East side of Hwy 125 in the Spring Valley neck of the woods. Not to far from Paradise Hills. Dictionary Hill would face south...so definitely would have had a great view of the fire on San Miguel Mtn.
You can get to D.Hill from I believe the Jamacha Rd. exit off 125 South.

Dictionary Hill is a suburb of San Diego. It is about 6 miles east of the city.
