I got a group of 6-8 people going to Vegas. Everyone in their mid 20s now making decent salaries, but of course saving $ is always cool too, and how important is the room in Vegas really? I'm assigned the task of booking the hotel room(s), my options are:

A) 2 standard rooms - everyone's got a bed, no sneaking needed.
B) 1 BIG Suite - Most have a bed/sofa, few may have to sleep on the floor..some sneaking may be necessary...but we'll have a suite to party in...maybe.

What would you choose and why?

Which one of those cities is it better to live in?

I haven't been to LA yet, but I traveled to San Francisco earlier this year. LOVED it. I'm from NYC, and the 60 degree temperatures in April were an awesome reprieve from 30's. The thing I hated about SF, though, were the sheer number of druggies laying on Market Street. Alot of young people there living off of their rich parents. LOTS of stoners. Other than that, I loved the morning fog, the scenery, everything was pretty awesome.

Do you think I would like LA if I went there? I'm fond of the city's rap culture.

Hi, I am trying to plan a nice relaxing, somewhat luxurious beach/diving vacation for my husband and I in the late Oct-Nov range and can't decide if we should go somewhere in Hawaii or Mexico? We are flying from Seattle so we don't want to spend too much time in the air or on layovers. Also, we don't want to deal with hurricanes. Any advice?

We dont want to do the 'lets get drunk at 10am thing' or the 'watch silly people at the pool getting wasted and making out'..dont mean to be rude... but we just want to have a nice relaxing time by the pool, nice dinners etc. Any ideas? We are staying in a suite at the Mandalay Bay. Which pools are less crowded... please give us some advice. WE do like to have a good time but we want to relax.

As we all know, Las Vegas is located in a deserted area and is a city that consumes quite some energy. How is so much power distributed to there?

It's probably underground power lines, but it has to be SOOOO expensive to distribute power to such a far away place.
