I know there are a lot of hispanics, but I am wondering specifically about people of Puerto Rican decent. Anyone who lives in Denver, please give me an idea of what areas (streets in specific) there might be Puerto Ricans. Thank you for your time!

What does Austin have to offer besides partying? Is it a scenic city like New York City? I'm moving from New York so I want to know what is the cost of living compared to N.Y.C? Also, where are the nice areas to live and where are the ghetto areas? Thanks.

Looking to visit Alaska.
Not sure when is the ideal time to visit there. I don't think I can handle more than 18 hours day light and anything colder than 30 degrees F during the day.

Plus what part of Alaska should I visit? I want to see nature but do not want to camp or go hiking. I am not that sporty or granola.

Thanks.

Would you take off an travel in an RV? How long do you think you could stand living "on the road" or in the RV parks? How long do you think those 4 walls would get to you? Would you know where to go (best places)?

Talk to me!

Ok so I will be in the loop July 27-29 and I wanted to go to a fun night club friday night. I am looking for something that plays a little bit of everything, has a reasonable cover charge (no more than $10), and is not crowded to the point that I have to elbow my way through the crowd. It will be me and my b/f so I am not looking for a singles bar. The hotel that I am staying at is located off of Clark and Adams. I would like something close by is possible. Thanks for your answers as I will take them all into consideration!

2. this is my first time going, what kind of things happen inside? for instance, when i go in, is it just a huge area you just walk around and visit booths?

Howdy. I'm from AZ and the farthest East I've ever been is Detroit, and that was a layover at the airport. I start my new job in a couple of weeks and will have free flight benefits and want to travel somewhere back East that's not a metropolis.

I've been thinking about Burlington, Vermont. Does anyone know of some neat places to check out while I'm there in terms of scenery or history or cool restaurants or anything? I'm hoping to go maybe in the middle of September...

(I'm posting this in the Boston board because it's the closest city to)

I was admitted to Arizona State... though, i just found out half of the classes i did here at my community college won't even work for my general ed. So I have to take more classes ... like science and math. Whereas if i went to a school in Ca. all of my general ed would be done. Has anyone else had this problem when going out of state from a 2 year to 4 year? Is it worth going to ASU and still having to do all of this? Or should i wait until spring and re-apply to cal states or maybe even UC Santa Cruz ( I applied to Cal states for fall 2007 and i was accepted to all of them... however, i declined the one i was going to; Long Beach after i found out i got into ASU... this was before i found out about the units/credits not being able to be used for general studies). So, what would you do if you were me? Should i wait it out until Spring and then re-apply to Cal schools?

It just pisses me off, because i was going to go to Cal State Long Beach. ASU is screwing me over!
