is the signature connected to mgm at the main floor? or is it a totally seperate building?

Signature is 3 seperate buildings behind the pool complex and connected by a walkway that ends near the pool entrance at the end of Studio Walk.

It's a separate building and it's a Condo/Hotel tower.
But not only does it connect to the main floor of the MGM Grand but you can also use all of the MGM amenities (i.e. pool, spa, etc.) if you're staying (or living) at Signature.
