By Niagara Falls, I mean both the Canadian and American side compared with Las Vegas.

I have only been to Las Vegas, but I still imagine Niagra Falls to be more beautiful. Not to say that the Las Vegas lights aren't cool! Thats just the thing though, they are cool, not beautiful in my opinion!

Vegas has the spartan desert beauty gonig for it - plus the sheer spectacle of the Strip.
NF, Ontario, seems to be modelling itself afet LV in recent years; in the 80s it seemed more modelled after a British garden city - so today it's a hybrid.
And you have the natural beauty of the falls, plus the green eastern vegetation in parks and woodlands. North of NF, you have Niagara on the Lake, an architecturally beautiful Victorian vilalge, with plenty of park greens as well, right on Lake Ontario. You also get seasonal differences - it's like a different place with different kinds of beauty each season.
NF, NY is trying to replicate NF, Ont, and has had some success along the Niagara River itself - but further from the falls, you find the real NF, NY - a complete s---hole.
I thikn everyone should experience Vegas at least once, but NF, Ontario is my choice for repeat visits.

Niagara has true natural beauty, but you can't beat the lights of Vegas.

PS: u can c neon lights every where....but true amazing beauty is a rarity in this human infested world.....no offence
