1. I've heard saturday tix are completely sold out, Web and door. It wouldn't surprise me if Friday sold out, too.

2. A LOT happens inside. There are booths, events, panels, movies, contests,
gaming events... all sorts of things. The downstairs floor is boths and exhibits; upstairs are panel rooms ranging from very small to huge (where the Hollywood-ish events are held). Under the sails you'll find the art exhibition, and other things, too.

3. There are dozens of rooms where side events are held. The popular ones fill up quickly.

4. The main floor lighting is kind of like that; it's not all like that. And you can aways step out back onto the deck, and enjoy some sunlight and gaze out onto the harbor.

It's amazing; I hope you get in and have fun!

Other answer is good; just wanted to add that I heard on the local news that Fri is sold out too; as of 7:50 am today, the only avail. tix are for Sunday. I'm betting you could get a scalper tix but couldn't guarantee it. Could also try Craigslist.
