When I used to live in Detroit, I went there all the time. It's really beautiful and definately worth it.
If you go there, I would recommend the "Maid of the Mist" boatride. You go right under the waterfall!!

I guess it depends on what you want to do. There are a variety of attractions in the area.
The parkland around the falls is free, although there are parking charges if you come in by car. Past that, stuff comes with a price tag -- including the bridge toll.
I'd definitely do the Maid of the Mist and the scenic tunnels that go behind the Canadian side of the falls. The Cavern of the Winds is also pretty spectacular. If you have big bucks, you can take a helicopter ride over the Falls, but that's not really necessary. The view from the Fallsview Casino is wonderful.
Be sure to go down river a bit and check out the gorge. There is an elevator ride to the bottom. And a gondola ride cuts a corner of the Canadian side.

If you go, stay in a hotel on the Canadian side w/ a view of the falls. And you must go on the Maid of the Mist boat ride. Youll never forget it

Yes, but that was 17 years ago and I'm in the UK.
Go to the Canadian side of the Falls - the US side isn't too pretty but the Canadian side is nice.

YA you have to go!!! its so fun and i loved it. You have to go to the canadian side and take a tour...its super fun!!!! go go go go go go go!!!!
