I will be travelling to Orlando soon, and will be based at a hotel on International Drive.

I will be attending The Florida Citrus Bowl (FCB) for an event, and wondering how to get there by bus?

I have tried both the FCB and Lynx Transport websites, but they don't give much information, so I thought I would ask on here. Any help is appreciated.

I went to DC in 94 but I cant remember the area where we did very cheap shopping very late at night (like 12am). I think it was in the hood but alot of people were out. Any idea where I was or where I need to go?

We're headed to Las Vegas for a long weekend with our 19 month old (Grandma, Uncle & Aunt will be there too). We won't have a car and are staying at The Hotel (Mirage). Anything special happening for Easter that weekend? Any suggestions on things to do w/ a Toddler in Vegas (near the strip?). I've never noticed any playgrounds...but, then again, when I was there in the past....wasn't looking for kiddo-playgrounds. Tx!

As summer is approaching, it's time to start planning ahead to make sure the best stuff to do isn't missed (and invite friends to come along). If you know of an inexpensive (or free) festival or event within a few hours drive of Detroit, please let me know. Insider tips like where to park, best food, particular items not to miss would also be appreciated. Here are some of my favorites:

May 19,20 East Lansing Art Festival
May 26, 27 Doors Open Toronto
June 22-24 Michigan Challenge Balloonfest
June thru August Sundays Frankenmuth Free Concerts
July 18-21 Ann Arbor Art Fairs
August 10-12 Great Lakes Folk Fest
August 18 Woodward Dream Cruise

I am thinking about moving to SF in the late summer for work. I currently work for an investment trust in London but need a break and I think the bay area, especially SF may cut it for me career wise as well as quality-of-life wise.

What can you tell me about extracurricular activies in SF, bars/clubs, places to visit, museums etc? I'd rather hear it from people who actually live there or have been than instead of googling it.

Many thanks!

Am visiting Orlando in mid-April with my family - husband, two kids aged 18months and 6, and wondered best places to stay, and also which parks are best for visiting for both the children. have considered the Wyndham resort on International drive, or Holiday Inn, or Disney's Port Orleans.

Don't want to make the wrong choices as the parks are so expensive and I'd like the kids to get what they can out of it. Is it worth hiring a car and going to Kissimee?

thanks

Has anyone ever had chronic shortness of breathe or nosebleeds because of the Denver dryness and then moved away because of it?

We are going to Florida for the first time, and want a nice hotel for just hanging out with the kids (age 18months and 6). It's not worth the cost doing the theme parks as they are so young, but we'd like to spend lots of time in the sun by the pool, and hopefully they will have children's activities?
We've heard International drive is bustling and good to walk around and people watch, also maybe hire a car and go to some local places. Any ideas?
