Dogfish Head Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, DE is a fantastic microbrewery. I am not the biggest beer drinker, but they make a great variety of beers, so there's something for everyone. Their brews range from lagers, stouts, and IPA's to some more unusual ones that you probably won't find anywhere else (their website has a list of their more unique brews, so you can find find out what you're getting yourself into ahead of time). They also serve some pretty decent food, so you won't be disappointed.

Beer tour of the USA? Come on, that is like wanting to take a history tour of Australia!
If beer is your interest then either do a tour of Britain for bitters and real ales or a tour of Germany for lagers.

Definitely hit Yeungling and Son's Brewery in Pottsville, PA. It is the oldest Brewerey in America. And the beer is pretty good as well.

Make sure you end up with Witchdoctor cocktails at the Rio Grande hotel rooftop bar (The Voodoo Lounge). Probably the best drink and view in America!
