Ahh, the first Disney World trip. I'm 20 and still haven't gone, although I lived 45 minutes away last year! Your best bet is to bring a good book.. a cd player/mp3 player.. some gum for your ears since they'll be popping.. and bug the heck out of the stewardesses for some free nuts!
I first flew on a plane when I was 13 too.. wasn't half as bad as I thought it was going to be. Ended up being a lot of fun!
Good luck!

There is nothing to be afraid of.
You get on the plane, get settled in, fasten your seat belt.
The airline attendants give a short demonstration on emergency procedures, pay attention to this, because it is bad manner to ignore the airlines attendants when they are trying to impart some wisdom.
The engines will start up and it will be fairly loud.
The plane will move slowly down the runway to get into position.
The engines will rev, (much like giving a car lots of gas while it is in park) and you will start to move very quickly down the runway. It may feel a bit bumpy.
Then you will see from your window that you are above the ground, then noise will decrease, and the attendants will give you something nice to drink and maybe even some pretzels for being so good during take off.
You are perfectly safe, statistically speaking, safer than in your own car.

It's honestly not that bad, I moved to Hawaii so that meant a lot of flying whenver we went to another state...I always take my lucky coin and say the Lord's prayer before we take off but you should try chewing gum, bringing a cd player, magazines, and other thing to help you relax, you can also tell the flight attendents it's your first time and when I flew to FL with a few friends who have never flown before it helped that they were albe to look out the window :o) Have fun in disney world and if all else fails maybe you can take some cold medicine to make you drowsy and you can just sleep through it :o)

Hide, get sick on the travel day and whine continually...
they will put you on a train.
