United States - February 2007

I'm arriving the day before I take cruise out of Miami and will only need a room for 12 hours or so. I don't want to spend a small fortune on room when I'm arriving in the late evening. I don't need a view or the beach. That's what the cruise is for. Just a comfortable clean room with an okay bed.

It looks like a picture of a chef from minnesota to louisiana. There's a story behind it to help memorize those states. Does anyone know the story behind it or what its called. The hat of the chef is minnesota and louisiana is his boot, he's holding a tray, which is tennessee and chicken which is kentucky.

Hi,

I have a few questions about Disneyland Park in California (not to be confused with Disneyland's California Adventure Park):

1. Do you think it is going to be worth it if I go there on Sunday during Spring Break holiday (March 25, 2007)?
2. If I bought the single-day theme park ticket, would I be able to leave the park at one time in the afternoon and come back 1-2 hours later without having to buy the ticket again?

Hey guys,
I'm going to visit Long Island, NY this weekend. I live in Connecticut, so every source online that I've checked routes me through the Long Island Expressway. According to some folks at my workplace, it is notoriously busy. How busy is the LIE during Saturday/Sunday morning... any easier way to get to Long Island, like a ferry (price would be appreciated).......

I'm going on a trip to see my boyfriends family in June or July. That may make this a little more easier. I'm lookin' to get outa philly because of all the violence and *hit. My question is being that I happen to be gay and black all my friends tell me to move to the ATL, but I am also intrested now in Houston as a place to live. Would I be better of in Atlanta or Houston being 22, black, and gay? How's the nightlife in Houston? Is the city too country, or will someone like myself adapt well coming from the northeast? Do I need a car? Where to live? I might be working at Methodist Hospital in downtown H-town.
