Hi,

I have a few questions about Disneyland Park in California (not to be confused with Disneyland's California Adventure Park):

1. Do you think it is going to be worth it if I go there on Sunday during Spring Break holiday (March 25, 2007)?
2. If I bought the single-day theme park ticket, would I be able to leave the park at one time in the afternoon and come back 1-2 hours later without having to buy the ticket again?

Thank you!

I would recommend arriving at Disneyland before it opens....you can get your ticket and be ready to start the day as soon as it opens. They actually take people end early and have them wait at the end of Main Street for the opening time. The first hour or 2 is the least crowded.

You can definitely leave the park and get back it for free but be sure to have your hand stamped on your way out and don't lose your ticket. I would also suggest taking a break during the most crowded part of the day (rest, swim at your hotel, whatever). Then return refreshed. Try to stay until it closes because the last hour or 2 is also less crowded.

Another hint: Get in the single rider line for Soaring over California (there will be just a handful of people in this line). You get to fill in whatever spots are empty and don't have to wait in line. Your friends usually end up in a seat not far away. You can also do this on the water rapids ride....though you will get separated into different rafts.

I agree with the others that Spring Break is going to be crowded! But, hey, going to Disneyland is better than NOT going! And, one good thing about Spring Break is that the park will be running its maximum schedule of shows and parades. (Some days during the off-season months, you would have trouble seeing the shows because they don't even run some of the best ones---like Fantasmic---every day during the winter & early spring.)

Don't worry about not buying a ticket that's good for one park only. There isn't really time to "hop" back and forth between Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure, anyway.

Get to the park early. The biggest logjam is at Space Mountain, so head there first if you want to ride it. Study the list of attractions at Disneyland before you head there, and hit the most important (to you) ones first...without stopping to eat, browse in the stores, etc. By the time the park has been open several hours, the crowd has really grown, so you want to have done the most important things before the bulk of the people arrive.

Yes and yes. Weekends are always croweded at Disneyland, especially that week! So you will have to deal with some pretty heavy crowd flow. Weekdays are always best, but work with what you have.
And yes, you can return to the same park later in the day. Just get your hand stamped and keep your park ticket!

If you've never been there go. Expect long lines at everything though. Some of the rides are usually out of service too. You can get a hand stamp to leave the park and return but you may have to pay for parking again, not sure about that.

As I continuously tell "askers", and as "Sam's" answer validates, the low in fee motels for travellers to Disneyland are no longer staggering next to the park, yet are particularly in the cities that border Anaheim. they're all purely a couple of minutes tension away. once you reside next to, or on components, at Disneyland, motel operators understand you're possibly a vacationer and price you as a effect. in case you reside in neighboring cities which includes Buena Park, Fullerton, backyard Grove, Stanton, or Westminster, your status is unknown. you may properly be a vacationer, corporation individual or common tourist so this is much less possibly they're going to over fee you.

1. It will be very crowded during spring break.

2. Yes, you get your hand stamped and you can return to the park anytime during the same day.
