What was the MOST haunted area that you ever went to visit, or live, or whatever? Why do YOU personally think it was so haunted? Were you terrified, and what did you do?!?

I love red roses, but am not willing to spend a fortune for a bouquet that I will throw away after my reception. I am the type of person that thinks some grocery and garden centers have just as pretty, if not prettier flowers, so I want to get flowers at a store like this. Can anyone give me a tip? I am staying at a hotel on the strip, so would need a place kinda close.

I currently live in the downtown Loop and commute to the southern suburbs for work. The reverse commute isn't bad at all - 30 minutes to the Homewood area, 30 minutes back, even during rush hour. I'm considering taking a job in Naperville / Aurora, in the western suburbs. I've driven on I-290 before, though, and in general it seems much busier than I-95 / I-57 during rush hour, even the "reverse" commute, going away from the city in the morning and coming back into the city in the evening. Does anyone know if this is a much worse commute than the south suburbs? Should I plan for much longer times in the car?

I'm looking for a place in southern california to raise my daughter in.The schools really dont matter(she's homeschooled)& public transportation would only be a tiny factor, but the place I'm looking for,it's reeaally important that it have these qualities(not in any specific order)
1.NOT in a big, "bustling", or suburban type city
2.don't have to have your nose in the air or a reeaally fat wallet to live there.
3.can go from said place to any wooded mountains that get winter snow within 1 1/2 hours driving.
4.can get from said place to the beach(preferably venice or surrounding areas, but any ocean beach will do.) within an 1 1/2 hours driving.
5.can get to major movie studios/centre of enertainment industry type area within an hour driving.
6.can get to cultural opportunities such as public gardens, plays & museums within an hour driving.
I know this is a lot, but PLEASE, if ANYONE knows a place that fits this description PLEASE let me know.No rude or pointless answers either.

Its so cool! Its like being in a hang glider!!!! When you go over an orange feild, you smell oranges, and when you go over a river with trees around it, you smell pines!!!! It is so cool! At about noon, the wait is usually 85 minutes, but its worth the wait!

good day! i have a question for you guys that have lived there a while. i'm a southern girl and i grew up in a very small town. i joined the military and married someone from boston. the only time that i lived in a big city was when i was military. i lived on base though, so i always felt safe. now my husband and i are getting a divorce. he will be moving back to ma soon. i decided to follow because of our 2 kiddos. i dont know anyone from there except his family (ugghh). i will be a certified real estate agent soon and would like to live close to boston (for work). i'm terrified to live in the actual city (crime, traffic, etc..). can anyone tell me small towns outside of boston/quincy, etc.. with short commuting distance, small population, and low crime? any advice is appreciated. thanks and stay warm!

I'm flying to DC in the next couple of weeks, but Dulles Airport is not that close to downtown Washington. I'll arrive on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon or evening and leave either Monday evening or Tuesday morning.

How is it over there? Is the temperature really always between 67* and 74*? Is it clean? Is there considerable crime? How do you like it? How far is it from San Diego? Is the main highway to San Diego always crowded? Is there anything to do in the city itself, without always going to S.D.?
