I moved here from Mpls/St. Paul, MN where I'd go out 2-3 times a week with friends. I haven't been out for a drink or dancing or really, anything, since I arrived here 3 weeks ago. I'm a single 32 old woman so I don't necessarily want to go into a college-type dance club all alone, either. Do I need to go up to Denver?? I'm thinking I may need to move there for some fun...

Hi folks
I am looking to stay at Barbary Coast in Las Vegas. I have read lots of reviews and have chosen there because I can get it for $85/night (September) and it's excellent location. The only thing that bothers me is that there's no pool!!
Are any of the hotel pools on the strip open to the public? Do Barbary Coast stayers get access to a pool anywhere?

Last year, I used one of the "shared van" means of transport to get to my hotel situtated about 15 minutes from Lax airport. I got dropped off first as the distance was so short.
This year I used the same service, at the same time, to the same hotel but it took three times as long.
I believe the driver went way out of his way thru subrubs and back roads and got somewhat lost. When I was finally dropped off, he said the whole delay was due to traffic but we were moving all the time. Do they usually go to the furthest place first? I got the metro service back to Lax at end of stay, saved a lot of money and it all went very well.

We were looking to tone it down a bit and enjoy 1 or 2 days doing other fun activities. My family is going to pensacola fla. this summer. We are taking my grandmother who is 83yrs.old in very good health. We are going to camp out because that is what she likes to do . I was also looking for some things to do during the heat of the day.I have to boys who are going w/ us they are 7 and 2.
