I'd like to do as much as possible on an underground train. Is this correct: Blue from O'Hare to Washington, then transfer underground to Red from Washington to Harrison and then walk a few blocks.

Hello all,
I am a 25 year old female and currently live in the Washington, DC metro area. This May I am looking to move to another city within the US for a change. My ideal place to live would be where people are laid back, genuinely nice and not so pretentious like DC. any suggestions?

I'm going to Mardi Gras in Lafayette this year with a few friends, we've never gone there before, and I was wondering if anyone could point out the best things to do; the best parades and night life, restaurants, or anything else we shouldn't miss

My family and I are considering moving to the Miami area this summer, and I need some advice as to where to buy a home. My wife would be attending graduate school at the University of Miami in Coral Gables. I'm assuming that I'd probably find a job in or near downtown Miami. Where are good, SAFE places to live that are within, say, a 40-minute commute of both these locations? I have two small children, so I'd like to be in an area with good schools (a concern from what I've heard about Miami), and that provides age-appropriate activities, such as swimming lessons at a county pool, children's ballet, playgrounds, etc. Also, I can spend around $550,000-$650,000 on a home. I guess I'm looking for a good place for upper-middle-class working families. Part of the problem is that I don't know what traffic is like, and how long it will take to get around during rush hour. For instance, would Pembroke Pines be too far? What about Sweetwater or Olympia Heights?
Thanks for your help!

I was considering moving to Vegas, one of my favorite places to travel. I love the people there and the atmosphere, but I was a tourist then. I want to live in an affordable apartment near the strip or downtown area but I read too many bad reviews about the area, just wondering if someone who is living there currently or used to live near the strip can give me some advice...thanks

I currently live in SoFla but I want a change of atmosphere. I'm looking to Austin, TX for the weather, the cheaper cost of living, and the scene. Is there any pertinent information I should know before going through with or to help with my search?

I'm an admin assistant and my manager has asked me to put together a photo scavenger hunt as a team building exercise in New Orleans. What are some fun ideas/clues that I can use? I’ve never been to New Orleans myself.
