My hotel in lanzarote was on a hill called catdiac hill/street? I cannot remember the name of the resort

Its the Calle de la Reina Sofia in Puerto del Carmen (just got back from there on Thursday)

Additional:
Many years ago we stayed at the Flora Apartments at the top of the hill. Used to have to push our 2 kids in buggies. Good job there are some bars on the way!
Here's a thought:
Why is the harbour called "The Old Town". It wasn't there 10 years ago! The strip is actually the oldest part.

Puerto del Carmen has a street known as Cardiac hill its in the new town near to the end of the Strip.

Puerto del Carmen....the hill from the harbour - is a nightmare - especially when your pissed...there is another steep hill along near Matagorda ..

It could have been either Playa Blanca, Peurto Del Carmen or Costa Teguise.
