My family is planning a trip from Feb 1 -4 th. We hope to find snow there. Is there any snow on the ground right now? How about in the mountains in and around Flagstaff?

There is snow north in the mountain areas. A Lot of the ski resorts have packed powder with bases of 20-40 inches now. The forecast for the first week in February is for warming to the mid 30's-40's during the day in Flagstaff. Check out weather.com for the 10 day forecast. Wednesday 1/31/2007 there is a 70% chance on 1-3 inches of snow...just waiting for your arrival. Also check out www.wunderground.com/ and click on the snow depth and find info there. Hope this helps for your WONDERFUL vacation.

The easiest way to find out is go into arizonasnowbowl.com it list the latest snow conditions.
Enjoy your trip, Flagstaff is awesome. For a laid back dinner and good pizza go to Alpine Pizza, great pizza & you can even sign their walls.
