I moved here from Mpls/St. Paul, MN where I'd go out 2-3 times a week with friends. I haven't been out for a drink or dancing or really, anything, since I arrived here 3 weeks ago. I'm a single 32 old woman so I don't necessarily want to go into a college-type dance club all alone, either. Do I need to go up to Denver?? I'm thinking I may need to move there for some fun...

I was born and raised in Colorado Springs. There are a lot of other things to do then going to bars. There is the Cheyenne Mountain zoo, the only zoo in the world built on a mountain. The Garden of the Gods, beautiful red rocks. The 7 falls, 7 waterfalls coming down from Cheyenne mountain. The cog railroad, it takes you up on top of Pikes Peak. The Air Force Academy, a military academy but they do allow visitors. In the summer there is the sky socks, a minor league baseball team.

Try places along Colorado Avenue (in Old Colorado City) and in Manitou Springs. They're definitely more laid-back than Colorado Springs proper.
