There is no river in New York state with the name "White River". The Hudson is the river you would cross if you use the George Washington Bridge on Interstate 95 or The Tappan Zee Bridge on Interstate 87/287. The Verrazano Bridge crosses The Narrows...between the Upper Bay and the Lower Bay. The Manhattan Bridge, The Brooklyn Bridge and Williamsburg Bridge all cross the East River. Through Google type in rivers in new York State and there is a website that lists every river in New York...the White in not one of them. As a truck driver I have, unfortunately, crossed the George Washington too many times...both upper and lower levels. Too old, too much traffic, too little lanes for the traffic, maintenance sucks on it and too expensive to cross anymore. I have found alternative routes now.

in new york city? or state? well in any case i don't think there's a "white river" around here. if you meant nyc, there is no "main bridge" either, however the most photographed ones are the brooklyn and manhattan bridges. the george washington and verazzano bridges are also quite famous.
