I'm taking my 11yr old daughter on an Alaska cruise next August. We have a day in Juneau and a day in Skagway (also one in Prince Rupert, BC)... the excursions are VERY pricy...and I'm thinking there's probably tons we could do on our own. Any suggestions? What are the must-see's of these places? I'd love to see wildlife or cultural stuff we don't see in the continental states. I live in Washington, so I know the scenery isnt' TOO much different... suggestions????

Places to stay in Salem, Boston and Plymouth MA?

Hi, i'm a student coming from England (Plymouth actually) to Massahusetts in Febuary. I'm trying to find out cheap places to stay while in there. I'm dong a history reasearch project so i will be staying in each of the above for a few days at a time and i'm flying into Boston.
Also any recomendation of great museums, historical places would be brlliant!!

River Mountain Lodge, Breckenridge, Co.?

Can anyone please rate this lodge in Breckenridge, Colorado? It is a condo that sleeps 6 at $418 a night. Included are the the lift tickets; is this a good deal?

Does any body know of a nice secluded beach close to Orlando?

I am going to Orlando in a couple of weeks and one of the days I have planed just to relax on the beach, you know to take a little break from all the parks!I know the closest beach to Orlando is hour-hour and a half away,but I am looking for a secluded beach,not many people,to be pretty and romantic!Thanks for your answer!:)))
