My fiance wants to move to Arizona so bad. What the hell is the big deal about AZ? We currently live in Delaware, I know it's got to be better than this. But what's the big deal about AZ?

I am thinking of relocating from Albuquerque, NM to Austin, TX. I have visited Austin a few years back, but I'm wondering about things like traffic (commute time), crime, employment, etc. Thanks!

I've lived in the LA area for about 9 years, with a few much-needed breaks in between. It would be a great city if the people here were a little better quality (and they had better public tranportation). I have found a few decent, real people here in 9 years, and thousands of flakes, wannabes, and jerks. I haven't been able to have a single relationship with anyone here, and only made a few real friends, and I am down to earth, goodlooking and openminded. Luckily, I haven't let people like that change me. Why are LA people so notoriously self-absorbed, shallow and flaky?

Chicago is a great town, but what I think is a big issue is where can you go just for the day (without having to fly somewhere) or the weekend thats fun, romantic and not so boring. I mean we got Galena, Lake Geneva, the City (we live there we can see always), western Michigan (ok so we ask this question in the winter)

Ever since seeing the notebook, I fell in love with South Carolina. I have researched and Edisto Island seems to attract my attention. If anyone could tell me about it there, that would be great! Thanks!
