I know a great ski place called SnowShoe and it's in the middle of "nowhere". It's south of Elkins near a place called Slatyfork. If you are into the outdoors you'll enjoy WV. Also, depending on where you are moving, you are actually close to some big cities so it could go either way...

There's nothing there...except coal mines. A few of my good friends are from WV and they've told me how you have to drive almost an hour away from a lot of places just to get to a grocery store. It IS very beautiful with lots of trees and mountains. People are nicer...it's a LOT slower paced than most places.

That really depends on where you're moving to. Despite the rumors, WV isn't any different than anywhere else. I travel to Huntington several times a year, and I love it there.

Please don't. It's terrible here. Especially if you're a younger person. Absolutely nothing ever happens. The people are all white, uncultured, deer-hunting cavemen. It's very suffocating.

But um..climate's nice, I guess. And the air is clean. You might want to try out whitewater rafting when you get here. People come here all the time from other states for that specific reason.
