Been there before, but only for a few hours... Going back in three weeks... Please, provide information/opinions on places to eat, things to do, sights to see, places to kick back and suck a few, etc. My girlfriend and I have experienced the sunset at Mallory Square, eaten at Kelley's, shopped from one end to the other (DuVall St. - right!?!), etc. Absolutely want to do the Glass Bottom Boat Tour!!! Any other suggestions???

I live in a working class town in north-east England and I went to New York City in 2004 when I was 12. My grandparents took me and it was amazing. I hope I get a chance to go back one day and maybe even live there.

We are planning a trip to the mall of america in Minnessota..Never been there We will be there all day Fri Sat and Sun. We obviously want to shop, go to the theme park and go to the underwater adventure thing they have. For anyone who has been there, can you tell me a little bit about it, was the theme park any good. The underwater I think its a meuseum. The shopping. You think that 3 days would be enough to do all of that?

looking for a fun place to live with other hipsters my age. Mid 20s to early 30s. Want to live in Honolulu, but somewhere with more of a local feel to it versus a tourist feel, if at all possible. Any help would be great! cheers!

I will be leaving for Oahu tomorrow and will be there for 6 days. I am going to help my sister with her new baby but hope to spend two days or nights seeing sights.

I would appreciate recommendations for

The best Beach-least crowded with tourists. (I am coming from essentially Wisconsin and can see fat tourists in bathing suits at our indoor water parks!)

Best Recreation options; perhaps kayaking, surf lessons; snorkling, or ?

Least Cheezy Luau!

Best Sushi/Best Seafood resturant. I'm looking for the best food-I don't care so much about the atmosphere provided it is not a shopping mall food court type.

Best Nightlife-bar hopping plan (prefer locals to tourist traps)

THANK YOU!

I heard a rumor that in Denver, CO they have a sort of "complex" with restaurants, video games and it's pretty much just a bar for big kids. I was also told it's perfect for a date night.
Can you help me?

I'd like to know if this club has a 'dance floor' or is it strictly a bar only type setup?

I am a 32 year old male, and am attracted to the people and the environment. I do not know that much about employment options in Honolulu, or the availabilty of housing. Coming from Seattle I am used to paying a bit more, but prices there sound scary! My other concern about moving to Hawaii is being White and more or less 'colonizing' what was once a sovereign Hawaiian nation. I have read that there are still big issues with this, any information would realy be great!

I live right outside of Philly on the NJ side and may end up with a job in NYC next year. I am wondering what the best way is to commute there. I looked at NJ Transit and Septa, but both look like they would take me a minimum of 2 hours, sometimes 3 hours, each way, even if I drive part of the way before picking up the train.

I have read that a lot of people do this commute regularly. What is the quickest way? I don't think living in NYC will be an option unless I can find a couple of cool roomates (pay would be in the neighborhood of 30k)

The movie Annie is my favorite movie. When the orphans leave the orphanage to go find Annie, they say, "We found #1 5th Avenue. We have to go to 987." They're from an orphange on Hudson St. About how far would it be for them to walk it?

I'm going to New York City on either October 27 or 28. It's my second time going there, but my aun't and uncle's first time going. I think we're going to go to the Statue of Liberty for sure and probably Central Park. What else will we be able to do in one day? When I was there last, I went to the top of the Empire State Building, but it was foggy. Any suggestions would be nice.
