the weather's usually nice here in hawaii depending what part of the islands you live. it's 78 degrees in the low and up to 88 degrees in the high. that's average, but it does get lower and higher at times. pay rate is $6.75 starting so on average if you were to work one job, your lowest pay would be about $13,000/year and as high as 60-70 thousand/year if you had a degree. that could vary dramatically depending on the skills or experience you have and how you plan to make your money. schools here are pretty good on average, but certain degrees would be better to achieve in the mainland schools. living costs could range from $200/month to $1300/month depending on if you roommate w/someone or get your own apartment and also the location of where you want to live. expenses could range in a variety of ways depending on how you travel to and fro, eat out or at home, like to go shopping or being conservative, and if you party or not. gas price ranges, but on average it's about $2.89/gallon or less, the price has been constantly dropping. shopping at costco for things you constantly use and has no expiration dates would save you a lot of money rather than buying small amounts at the grocery store. there are a lot of discount shops all over so you could save a lot of money if you shop smart. people are more open minded and generally a lot more friendly than the mainland from what i experienced. racism isn't as harsh here and there are a lot of different ethnicities and cultures here that makes living in hawaii more enjoyable and you learn a lot about their lifestyles. it's basically a mix of the mainland and aloha meaning we're not disconnected from the tech world and people of all walks of life get along well here. as far as fashion and lifestyle, we're probably the same as where you came from, unless you came from the countryside. hope this helps you out w/your questions and you find aloha hear!

generaly around 80-85 degrees, But you have a very nice tradewind that blows so it cools you off if it gets hotter then that. Lows depending on elevation, but commonly on the coastline, lows around 68-70. Pay rates i have seen as low as 7 dollars an hour minimum, up to no glass ceiling. Schools as far as universities are OK, so i have heard. University of Hawaii isnt rated a top ivy league school or anything, but im sure they have great programs. hope this helps!

I would have to say one of the benefits for working in Hawaii, is that it is a state law that all employers have to offer health insurance to their employees. No matter where you work. I waited tables for years and had a part time job that paid $7/hr plus commission -and that was 14 years ago. It was a great benefit to get the insurance while I was working in a bar, which you can't get very often on the mainland.

I live in Hawaii. It is warm. About mid-80's sometimes feels hotter, but it's not. It's less cooler in the winter, just below 80 & more cooler at night. I'm not sure about the schools, because I've never been to the schools here. It's real nice here in Kailua-Kon, especially downtown at night. I heard Maui is a lot more beautiful then Kailua-Kona, but I've never been there, so I'm not sure. The are lots off activities here in Kailua-Kona

also check the Chamber of Commerce in Hawaii, for pay rates and such.
Schools are just like the rest of the USA.
Very beautiful, very expensive, Aloha.
