It's a chain of W hotels, the W stands for worldwide, or world.

Its owned by the Whataburger company. Its pretty clever for them to disguise this burger establishment as a fancy hotel.
W(whataburger) hotel...tricky!
Then again they could've gone with Whatahotel
In simplified terminology a hotel is structure with interior rooms made to house temporary tenants.
No longer will you have to ask "Whatahotel?"
or it could be world...at least that's what I hear.

According to an online article I read the 'W,' stands for whatever you wish it to be. See an excert from an article I read below:
"The W chain is the brainchild of Starwood Chief Executive Barry Sternlicht. Holden says Sternlicht's wife came up with the name. "All the words she thought of that she wanted to apply to the hotel just seemed to start with 'W,' like wonder, wired, warm, whimsical, witty. They all seem to fit," says Holden. "

It means "whenever, whereever" and it is on the phone in every room, meaning whenever you need something just call.
