We're planning to go outlet shopping in the first week of August in Desert Hill outlet. After checking the weather on weather.com, we're a bit scared as it's 118 degree hot. Plus we're traveling with a 19-mth old baby.

Our plan is to visit the outlet and then stay in a nice hotel with a pool for 1 night. Has anyone done that recently? Thoughts? And do you know if the Parker Hotel is okay for small families?

I am going to be visiting Philadelphia with my boyfriend who is from there. However one of the days we are there he will be gone all day visiting his brother in Prison :( . I plan on going shopping at King of Prussia Mall in the morning but need more ideas of things I can do by myself (must be in safe areas). Any ideas of fun things I can do by myself?

We are planning to build a new home around the Tampa, FL area sometime next spring. (Right now we are living in Pittsburgh, PA.)
We want to buy something less than $500k with a pool, 4-6 bedrooms, 3500+ square feet, and a fair plot of land.
Can you get a decent home around $400k?
(I have heard that Tampa is quite expensive for new homes.)
I have checked into some homebuilders in FL and requested some info, but photos only do so much.
If anyone has any experience with any builders down there it would be appreciated.
That way we fly down to get more info we won't waste any unnecessary time.

I'm thinking of relocating to Seattle but I don't really want to live "in the city". Based on my research my income potential is the general area (with my job skills) is about $10 to $14 per hour so I not living the big life. I will have to live in or near a medium to large Metropolitan area to get work and I would prefer to live near water. (It's a weird thing I don't like to live to far inland!) This would be a BIG move way across country and I don't really know anyone in the area so any suggestions on areas, cities, cost of living or commute would be appreciated.

Hi there, I'm going to Disney World this Sunday and I wanted to know what the best transportation means were. We're staying at a hotel in Kissimmee...so from the airport, should we take a taxi there? A shuttle?

And for anyone that has used the taxis, shuttles, etc. to get around, how much do they usually charge? Say, per mile?
