I'm gonna be on vacation in Europe for 3 weeks, moving to different cities every 4 days. I will have access to my friend's apt about midway through the trip and she has a washing machine there. That takes care of washing my jeans, but how do I dry them? Jeans usually take 2 days to hang dry and if I put them in the clothes dryer they'll shrink and won't fit.

Any suggestions or tidbits of experience?

I was out clubbing Friday night and I found a U.K passport belonging to a girl named Sophie. It was in the middle of the road as I was crossing so I had to pick it up, who else would have?

Anyway, she has no details in her passport, just her name, age etc but no contact details. The Australian Passport service can't help, and I'm trying to find who to call in the U.K so I can return it to her. I've looked on the net and all I can find is places to report the passport lost or stolen. I need to report a FOUND passport!

Thanks!

I'll be goingto Europe for a few weeks and will only stay at each city for a few days. I'll be travelling with a small group of 4 people staying at hostels and hotels. At home I spend about an hour each day running or swimming. If i go more than three days without any physical activity I start to get real antsy. How do you stay fit on vacations?

I got his boss to book the time off work for him secretly, and am not planning on telling him where we're going, or for how long. I want to pack a bag for him, to keep the surprise going, but can't think of a way to make sure I get all his favourite clothes packed without him finding out. Can you suggest a way I could do this? (he's very particular about what he wears, and i wouldn't want to leave any of his favourite things behind) so A) how do I know what to pack, and B) how do I pack them without him noticing?

I wanna make my trip really really fun. Get to know the locals or maybe hook up with a cutie traveler while in Paris or Barcelona. I'll be travelling with a mixed group of friends at shared hotels at both places. Do you have any advice?

I have an upcoming trip to Europe that's turning out to be very difficult to plan b/c of who I'm going with. It's making me think that a vacation by myself might be a good idea. At home, I already go to concerts and movies by myself when noone else is interested. What would a vacation alone be like? Did you enjoy it?

I'm going to England and other different countries. Do most places accept travelers check? Are they easy to use or should I just use cash? Credit card companies charge too much extras when cards are used abroad...

A friend and I are planning a vacation together, but we're running into "issues." He's a manipulative guy who can't tell the truth about anything. We each picked out a city to visit during the trip. We both agreed on a budget for lodging, but he's coming up with reasons and excuses why we need to spend more on his city. But, he insists that we stick to the super economical budget for my city, which he's not crazy about going to. This is ridiculous. Every little increase in expense for his city is validated with, "It's only a little bit more. We should do this b/c we get a better/ more/ closer blah blah blah." And to every increase in expense I suggest he says he needs to save money.

How can I let him know his style in handling things isn't working and needs to change?

My husband I own a AERO King Sized Air Mattress, that we have used when visiting family or for guests. Unfortunately, it ripped along the bottom longwise where the vinyl is sewn (seamed) together. I was looking on Ebay, and I found a nice one by Coleman camping products, but I wanted to know if anyone could recommend anything else from personal experience.

Also, two twins will not work for us, as my husband is 6'4", and likes to creep onto my side. We need the king more for the length, and wouldn't like the small gap that you get when you push two twins together.

Thanks!

Everything I've read says to carry a backpack to Disney World with you. It made sense to me, so that I could carry the things I bought with me, but we're staying at a Disney resort and can have our purchases delivered for free. So does anyone know why else I would need one? What do you carry in yours?

I heard that there is a 90 day reservation or "grace period" concerning all international flights going into the states. I just need verification and details on the new regulations.
