I got his boss to book the time off work for him secretly, and am not planning on telling him where we're going, or for how long. I want to pack a bag for him, to keep the surprise going, but can't think of a way to make sure I get all his favourite clothes packed without him finding out. Can you suggest a way I could do this? (he's very particular about what he wears, and i wouldn't want to leave any of his favourite things behind) so A) how do I know what to pack, and B) how do I pack them without him noticing?

Get your friends to play a game with you. Sit round while you are having drinks and ask questions like. You have a small suitcase and you are told you have one hour to pack, what items of clothing would you pack and why. Somthing like that. But ask a few other random questions so it doesnt relate only to travel. Or you could get the guys to write it down and the girls have to guess what they would pack and then compare and the closest list wins the game. At least then you have a list written by him to go by.

See what he wears to work/t home one day, if its something you want to take wait until the next day when he wears something else and then pack it. If he doesnt wear the same thing twice in a week this should work aslong as you do it a week before the holiday.

DO a big cleaning and wash and send things to the cleaners.
Make a list and you can pack if you get him out for 1/2 hour

HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!

its kind of difficult as he's sure to notice his stuff missing if you pack too early.

my tiny brain can only think of this:
pack his favourite clothes on the day before you leave.
have them professionaly cleaned at the hotel laundry services

you have to decide what to pack, depending on the duration.

have a good holiday.

Pack his favourite stuff and if you forget anything tell him not to be so ungrateful.

I'm sure he'll be more interested in the surprise holiday to be fair, and if he's not, then he should get some perspective. lol

Well, one day just bring it up casually, like play twenty questions or sometihng. And ask him something like "If you had to choose 4 articles of clothing which would they be?"
and pack them while hes out with friends or at work.

Get his boss to tell him he has to go on a business trip with casual dress? Do it at the very last minute once you've sent him on an errand for something random?

Observe what he usually wears and pack his stuff while he's at work. You could also ask his friends what his favourite stuff are.
