Trying a different category here. I'm looking for a way to fold a bandana so that it can stay folded if it is tossed about. This is with the idea that it can be put in a travel bag or a knapsack without the fold being undone. (An analogy would be having a pair of socks rolled into a ball.) I'm hoping that it can be self-contained, using only the fold itself. I have a method already, but it's convoluted and I'm hoping there's a simpler way. All useful answers are welcome. Thanks in advance.

What is the best way to take a car seat on vacation via plane? Check it? If you check it, what did you put it in? Special carrying case, garbage bag, box?
Can you take it on the plane with you if you didn't purchase the child a ticket (she will be in my lap, she is 5 months)? We have a stroller and a car seat to take and I know we can take the stroller on the plane for them to store up front, but what should I do with the car seat?

This may seem like a weird question, but how do you start travelling overseas? I've been on planes and through airports several times, but I've never been overseas.

So, I guess my real question is how do you plan out a trip, reserve your hotel and get around in places where you don't speak the language of the country?

Maps, obviously are a big help, and learning a bit of the language.... But what about getting around the airport at the foreign country? Riding taxis? Or ordering food? I really want to travel in the future, but I'm not sure how I should begin.... Thanks!

When I search for this information, I am led to on-line training programs. is there anyone out there that can steer me in the right direction to become a travel agent. Or do you know of any travel and tourism programs.
