I travel at least once a year and I always get the cheapest rates through Orbitz, but I don't buy from Orbitz. The trick is to get the best price and then go directly to the airline that offers that fare's webpage and purchase it there. Two reasons: 1-they are usually discounted even more if you buy them direct from the airlines (online only) and 2-if you need to make a change to the ticket at a later date you can go directly to the airline/airport/or call the airline. With online ticket agencies like priceline.com, etc. there tends to be a hassle in changing the ticket. Good luck!
