I'll be goingto Europe for a few weeks and will only stay at each city for a few days. I'll be travelling with a small group of 4 people staying at hostels and hotels. At home I spend about an hour each day running or swimming. If i go more than three days without any physical activity I start to get real antsy. How do you stay fit on vacations?

just do morning and night walks they will help you in terms of exercising your body (muscular parts of your body). Walking or jogging in the morning.

As if I'm an expert:) However, I hate to feel bloated on vacation, so I usually go for fruit or something fresh for breakfast, try to eat a healthy lunch and then eat what I want at dinner. I don't do desserts a lot, but that's not my weakness.

Also, park far away from things and walk, swim, visit the gym in your hotel, walk on the beach. Usually plenty of opportunities for activities.

We do lots of walking when we're on holiday. It's the best way to get acquainted with the places you're visiting. Check out our travelogues: http://www.thetravelzine.com You could suggest some walks to your group based on what you read. Hope you have an amazing time.

It's called a VACATION.

Trust me, you won't get "antsy".
