I am flying out of Logan airport in Boston tomorrow and I realize it will be wicked busy. So, I wanted to go to the airport tonight and do the bag and security thing before it got crazy. My plane leaves midday so I would chill at the airport overnight. Is it possible to check the bags the day before?

Each item counts (each shoe, etc)...Your flying there and staying with a friend at a hotel, you can not come back with more than you left with...What 8 items would you bring for these 2 days.

My international flight checked baggage allowance is 2 bags, 32kgs each. So, if one of my bags weighs more (say about 35-36kgs) and the other is less than 10kgs, will the airlines people make a fuss (or charge extra baggage) for the heavier one ? Wont they just consider the total of both to be within the limit and let it go ?

When we buy duty free liquor bottles, do they have to fit in the hand baggage or can they be carried outside the hand-baggage (if they dont fit in !!!!) ?

The bags come in different sizes from small purses to larger bags that can be used for clothes and what not. I believe the pattern is like paisley or whatever but they come in different colors and patterns too. I saw them at Boscovs and checked their website but couldnt find what I was looking for. I think the name of the bags are two words but I cant think of them. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

My mum who lives in Italy wants lime marmalade for Xmas (as part of a package of presents). Security restrictions mean I can't take lime marmalade through hand luggage but I can buy it before I board. I don't want to check it in as I don't have enough luggage to require a check in and it seems ridiculous to check in a bag just because of lime marmalade. Does anyone know if lime marmalade can be bought at Heathrow Terminal 2?

My girlfriend was at a cafe in London, having her drink. She had her bag on a seat beside her. Less than a minute, her bag was gone. Immediately, she reported her stolen bag and after she tried to inform and terminate all her credit card services. Well, the thief utilized her Citibank credit card and signed for about $300-400. She paid for those bills. Citibank claims that she had reported her case too late, which is a day later, without considering the difference of the time zone between Singapore and London? I believe as we all know Citibank is a international Bank, how could they make her pay? She had her report. Do we have to highlight the time zone difference to the Citibank banking officer? How much trouble do we have to go through to fight for our case? I do also have a Citibank credit card. I'm wondering should I bring and use it when I'm oversea now?

I know you can use it on the plane...play games & music and stuff. No internet connection, correct?

The house I'm staying at has Internet connection--I'm not sure what. I have wireless DSL. How do I change my internet settings? And will they go back to normal when I return home?

Anything else I need to know?
