Hi, I need help! I know I can fly on American Airlines with my guitar, but will they let me bring a backpack too, and put a laptop in that? Thanks!

I've already checked the TSA website and it did not specify what I'm asking about. It's not a medication, just a shake I drink in the morning. The container is about a gallon size.

I'm visiting LA and San Francisco next week, but I have no idea what to pack. Is a long sleeved tee-shirt, scarf and mid-thigh length woollen coat sufficient to keep me warm outside?

I'm visiting Hong Kong in 2 weeks' time and would like to know what sort of clothing I should be packing. Can I venture out in a cotton long-sleeved tee-shirt and a mid-thigh length woollen coat or will it be too cold?

I'm not asking about what you're allowed to take on the plane these days!

I want to take things for people to try - Christmas pud, shortbread, horseradish sauce, tea bags, etc. My question is whether I am allowed to take food into the country or are there restrictions on taking food from Europe to South America (packed in my suitcase)?

Or, does anyone know a website where you can look up customs restrictions between countries?

Thanks!

I'm going to Mexico in a week and wanted to bring back a good bottle of tequila (one not available in the US). If it is purchased at the Duty Free shop and is sealed and I have a receipt as proof of purchase, would I be permitted to carry it on board? I don't want to pack it in my checked luggage. Also are there any restrictions to carry on electronics such as cell phones, DVD players, I-Pods, cameras etc.?

I recently flew to Las Vegas and put my laptop in my luggage. When I arrived in Vegas my screen wasn't working properly (it wasn't lighting up). I could barely see anything. But then it began working again the next day. When I flew home I again put the laptop in my luggage (not thinking this was the problem), and again my screen didn't work. This time it was worse. It took a couple days before the screen would light up. When it started working again there was a sound like the computer fixed a loose connection. Does anyone know if the screening process in the airport, before the luggage is put on the plane, would affect my laptop? It's only one and a half years old.
