You know how most airlines have a 50lb limit on each suitcase you check, I was just wondering whats the best way to fit a lot in a suitcase without going over your 50lb limit. Rolling them or just folding them regularly. thanks =]

The other does not take anytime to load. Are you planning on speeding it up or going back to the old one?

My Fiance and I are going on a 4 night Royal Caribbean Cruise in a couple weeks, (our first) and I am not sure how much money to bring. We are moderate drinkers (about 4-6 for the whole day) and will probably spend a couple hundred in the casino, I don't really know how much alcoholic beverages are, and have not yet planned on purchasing any excursions (they didn't seem to interest me, as I live in Florida already and have done most of the beacy type stuff) We were planning on about $1000.00 for both of us?? Does this seem doable???

Thanks!

Or do I need to bring everything in a plastic bag? I usually only bring my I.D., tickets, a book, ciggarettes, cash and a camera on the plane. Will I be okay carrying this stuff in my regular purse?

Any ideas on a fantastic honeymoon that is also economical? I have no restrictions, except that I would like it to be fun, adventurous but most of all RELAXING! Not like a tour of Europe where there is so much to do and learn that it might be overwhelming for one weeks time.

thanks in advance!

i will be traveling to japan in early april '07 and i was trying to find a good book about japan to help me prepare for the trip. this is my first international trip. in the past, i have used the dummies books (i.e., hawaii for dummies, etc) and they have been very helpful, however, they do not make one for japan. i went to the book store and i was able to find a couple good books on customs and etiquette of japan, as well as, a basic japanese phrase book. i guess i'm looking for more of a travel guide book (i.e., where to stay, tips on getting around, best cherry blossom sites, etc)....frommers makes a book, but was hoping there was something simpler out there (like the dummies books). i should also mention that i will be spending my time in tokyo. thanks for your help.

I am seriously considering this when my lease is up in a few months. Obviously one would need a tent, a sleeping bag or some sort of sleeping roll, a mess kit, a good damp-proof lighter or damp-proof matches, and some idea of what direction to go (a compass and a map?) Also a first-aid kit would be a necessity, as would a flashlight. To prepare, I want to learn as extensively as possible about edible vs nonedible herbs and plants across the US, does anyone have a good book they copuld recommend, with color photos and descriptions, etc?

I want to start in Philly and make my way west, probably heading out as straight as possible, starting in the spring. Obviously if I'm still out when the weather gets colder I'll move my path further south. I just think it sounds like an incredible thing to do, and I want to hear from anyone who thinks they have a good idea for a supply I would need, or if anyone's done it before, I'd like to hear from you especially about your experiences!

Does anyone know what my rights are for lost luggage? American Air just lost my bags which had EVERYTHING in them. I am on a business trip so I had suits, ties, shirts etc (all very expensive). Its been 24 hours. Should they buy me a new suit? If they don't find it at all will they replace the cost of all my items (probably $5000 worth). Anyone have experience this this and if so, what are my options? Thanks
