It all depends from where you are leaving. Some countries (like the USA) have free-trade or duty-free agreements with Mexico, so 2 or 3 bottles of liquor should be OK, provided they are properly packed and wrapped in your suitcase and not in your carry-on.
If you are not travelling from the USA, please make sure to consult the embassy of Mexico in your country and check with them -- or with the company -- what rules may apply.

I would think that they only way that you can travel with liquor is if it is in your checked luggage. Make sure that it is securely packed and padded as your luggage gets thrown around and you don't want the bottle to break and get all over all of your clothes, etc.... You may want to check with the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you, as well as detailed instructions on how your carry on should be packed.
Have a great trip!

No, you' would desire to wrap it securely and take it on your checked luggage. the only incorrect way is to purchase it interior the activity unfastened save when you pass via protection and that they are going to positioned it onboard for you interior the cabin and provide it to you once you land. you're actually not allowed to have your own alcohol in a airplane in keeping with FAA policies.

If you are leaving from the U.S. and want to take them in the cabin with you, you would need to purchase them in the airport after passing through the security checkpoints. If you already have the alcohol, you would have to pack them in your luggage because liquids > 3oz are currently not allowed through security checkpoints.

You will be able to put it in your checked baggage. Not on carry on tho. Wrap up the bottles and cushion them heavily, so the bottles will not break.
