Quite why it is not allowed to be shipped is a mystery. Just what is so strange about a thermos flask that makes it unshippable I wonder.
Anyway, the simple answer is buy something else, why beat yourself over the head with a self-made problem.
Of course, you could always go the the US and buy one to bring home, but then would it be allowed out of the country if it is so special?

If the company won't ship it, it's most likely because it's a highly breakable item. You might try other suppliers.
