each person can have 1 carry one bag and each passanger can have 2 pieces of luggage. i called southwest yesterday because i am flying out from baltimore on friday morning. good luck.
p.s purses and diapers bags do not count agaisnt your ratio

depends which airline. but mstly it can be two bag for each person. One that should not be more then 10 or 12 kg's. and another that can be your carry bag that should not be more that 3 or 4 kg's.

You can bring as many bags as you want but it's the weight of all of it that matters. Check the hand-carry and check-in policies of your airline. Usually, they allow about 7kg max for hand-carry bags.

For economy, 1 bag to 20kgs plus hand luggage to 10kgs
You get more for first class, I think its 30kgs and 10kgs hand luggage
