It can be hand carried on the plane with no issues. I do it all the time. They just ask that you not open it on board the plane. They dont want you getting out of hand on board. The flight attendants will some times take it and hold it for you back in there station. Enjoy!

Once you are past security there are no rules regarding this. Or at last not enforced. Obvioulsy you would need to have them fit into your overhead or, under your seat. You can carry them anyway you want aboard your flight. The only thing the airline cares about is that they are not opened. They dont want people chugging from their own bottles aboard flights.

I have seen situations where flight attendents have put bottles in a seperate storage area for passengers sometimes also. Probably if space was a minimum.

No. You'll have to pack it in your luggage that will be stowed in the planes cargo hold. It doesn't matter that the seal won't have been broken. What I wonder is what the airlines are going to do about the increase in thefts from suitcases that is bound to happen. We had some brand new DVDs stolen when we flew to Texas in 2004 and the airline said there was nothing they could do about it. Imagine all the goodies those TSA workers can get their hands on now.

You can carry liquor purchased at duty free onboard in addition to your hand baggage for now. http://www.mousetourstravels.com/travel-security-alert-packing-guide.html

Yes, as he said, bought at duty free... no need for ziploc... keep the receipt, ask a stewardess for help to make sure that it is secure

If it's liquid then it has to be in your ziplock bag.
