You can take pretty much whatever you want to in your checked baggage, with certain exceptions, of course. I have never heard of batteries being a problem. You can even carry them in your carry-on bags. If you're really worried about what the TSA will do with your batteries, buy new ones and leave them in the package. But again, I have never heard of anyone confiscating a person's batteries.

Batteries in your checked luggage shouldn't be a problem. Here's the US Transportation Security Administration's website with their list of permitted and prohibited items: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm And here's our page: http://www.mousetourstravels.com/travel-security-alert-packing-guide.html

Happy travels!

be very careful, there two types of bateries.
1-dry (FLASHLITE BATERRIES,ETC)
2-wet (best example. car bateries, etc). this type has a corrosive type liquid.
..they are restricted by aviation organizations..

best bet, call the airline up and ask them this question.
and also check with the cargo department of the airline.
check closely,

hope it helps..

As long as they're not a liquid brand of battery you should be fine.
