Travel (General) - June 2007

I spent the summer in Germany and wanted to bring back around 10 German beers as a gift for my sisters wedding. As an (of age) American citizen returning to the US how many bottles would I be allowed to bring, would I have to declare them in some way, and if I cannot put them in my checked luggage is there some other way to get them home? I am going from Dubai to Sydney with a stopover of a day in Brunei. I will not get my checked in lugguge in Brunei so I need my toiletries in my hand-luggage bag. What is the limit of each container? How many bottles can be put into a resealeble bag and how many bags can I take??
Oh yeah, and what is the point of resealable bags in the first place?

or should I boil it at all? if I do - how long? and what should I do after I boiled the water? will it really kill all of the bacteria in the water? I am pretty apprehensive about drinking it -- even if it is boiled.

I'm going to San Francisco in August. I was wondering two things:
+What should I wear on the plane?
+What types of clothes should I pack for five days there?

I will be departing from MKE in Milwaukee. I want to be able to be comfortable in my clothes for Wisconsin, the plane, +San Francisco.
Also, since I will be traveling to San Francisco in August, will it be mid-60s ish? Or am I way off?

I'm heading out on a backpacking trip for 6 weeks. I'm traveling via train mostly; however, I'm taking my bike with me. In addition, I'll be staying in mostly hostels. I'm heading east from Denver up to the northeast and into Canada ending up in Seattle. I plan on taking a lightweight sleeping bag, but heard hostels sometimes don't allow them? Hi. I'm 17 and I'm planning to go to San Diego, CA, at least 2 weeks from now, and stay for about 2 weeks. I live in Cincinnati, OH. I'm looking for a cheap roundtrip flight....
