I am going from Dubai to Sydney with a stopover of a day in Brunei. I will not get my checked in lugguge in Brunei so I need my toiletries in my hand-luggage bag. What is the limit of each container? How many bottles can be put into a resealeble bag and how many bags can I take??
Oh yeah, and what is the point of resealable bags in the first place?
PLEASE HELP I FLY IN 2 DAYS!!

check everything that you don't need. Most drug stores like Savon or Rite aid have travel size toiletries. use those and if they confiscate them no big deal. However; here is the rule.

3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.
Consolidate bottles into one bag and X-ray separately to speed screening.

Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience.

3-1-1 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage.

Wow that is weird because I leave in 2 days for Sydney too. About the liquids you can take one zip block sandwich sized bag. All the liquids or gels must be 3 oz. or less and must all fit in the one bag. A few month ago there was a terrorist attack that was being plan. It involved an explosive in a large liquid bottle. After that they need a restriction that they could moderate the amount so that the explosive could not be made. I am not sure the exact event but that is the basic idea.
And yes lip gloss and mascara are counted.
Hope this helps.

As far as I know you cannot take any liquid products on flights. They will confiscate them before you get on the plane. My friend was traveling from France and go her lipgloss confiscated. The best thing to do would be to check with the airline either online or call them. Good Luck!

it is allowed for a person to transfer liquids or essentials like, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, perfume, etc. in a 100ml bottle.

it should be a plastic bottle that is clear or transparent. maximum allowed is 100ml of each only.

you then put all of these repacked bottles in a clear ziplock plastic and should be declared and included in you check-in luggage.
