We live about 13 hrs from Orlando and 7 hrs from Branson and we are driving, so is Orlando that much better than Branson? Driving 13 hrs will be rough so we are thinking about just going to Branson instead but should we just tough it out and go to Orlando?

Here's my problem: I filled out all the paperwork and ordered my passport back in the beginning of March. I didn't get it expedited then because I felt like taking what I thought at the time was a small risk in order to save $90. Well, fast-forward to June and my passport's status is still listed as "being processed" and I need it by the 16th. So, is there any way to get it expedited at this point or am I just going to have to hope that it arrives in time? Also, I live nowhere near a regional passport agency (the government in its infinite wisdom decided that the northeast needed an RPA in every state while one RPA in Miami would suffice for the entire southeast).

I was born in another country and became a citzen in 1973 at age 9. I have no idea where my naturalization papers are and I have never had a passport or a need for one. I contacted te USCIS and they said a replacement could take up to a year to get and I have to travel out of the country this month. I have my birth certificate but that does not help since It's from a different country. I have a valid DL, Soc sec card, have worked in this country all of my life, pay taxes, and have never had a problem, but now I could lose my job if I am unable to travel and I do not resolve this issue.

Any ideas on how to get a passport and prove I am a citzen without having my naturalization papers?

Ps, it makes no sense anyway because the picture on the original certificate is of me at age 9; I'm 43 now! Go figure.

I've recently decided to organize an annual campout with some friends who I would not ordinarily get to see that often. I offered a lovely campsite, flushable toilets, hot showers, and breakfast Saturday through Breakfast Sunday cooked for them. This was not going to be standard campfare, it was gourmet food. All this for only $45 a head. I went from 23 positive RSVP's to 11 when it came time to pay. 3 couples paid, 1 couple showed. What can I do to get a better turnout next year?? I'd hate to go to all this trouble again for much the same result.
