Here's my problem: I filled out all the paperwork and ordered my passport back in the beginning of March. I didn't get it expedited then because I felt like taking what I thought at the time was a small risk in order to save $90. Well, fast-forward to June and my passport's status is still listed as "being processed" and I need it by the 16th. So, is there any way to get it expedited at this point or am I just going to have to hope that it arrives in time? Also, I live nowhere near a regional passport agency (the government in its infinite wisdom decided that the northeast needed an RPA in every state while one RPA in Miami would suffice for the entire southeast).

in the beginning, the size of the fee is the observer who sees the fee of the spacecraft being purely below the fee of sunshine (i.e., on the launch website), no one on that spacecraft. He additionally sees the spacecraft present day technique quite severe mass, length and time dilation. So, while he sees the intrepid astronaut hop on his bike, he sees that for the duration of very sluggish action, and the fee he sees, one hundred eighty mph or with the intention to the astronaut, is purely a tiny fraction of the 10mph required to interrupt the SoL. So, no, the observer sees purely a motorcyclist making a bare boost over the spacecraft itself. Worse, it is going to become a good smaller fraction the speedier the spacecraft is going, and the speedier the bike is going, it techniques the fee of sunshine via an incrementally declining share of the relax speed required.

Like the saying goes: " Money makes the world go round." Pay and the process might be a little faster depending on how many passports are in the 'rush' stage.

Well, you could try to call them up and see if there's any way you can get it faster. I didn't take any risks when I got my daughters passport, paid $187+ and it came in 3 days. They said it would take up to 4 weeks. Goes to show money matters in this world. What a rip off.
