Carry as little cash as possible. Instead use ATM and Credit Cards.
There are several benefits to doing this.
First, you never have do deal with money changers, your ATM and Credit Cards will debit your accounts in the local currency and typically your exchange rates will be better than at a money changer.
You mention a "world trip" but don't mention how many countries you'll be traveling to. If you're headed to multiple countries (especially outside of the Euro Zone) using your ATM or credit cards means you won't have to change money every time you go to a new country because you won't have that much case on you.
Finally, ATM and credit cards are really easy to hide from pickpockets and other theives.... If one is stolen, your bank's theft protection policies take over to reduce or eliminate your losses... You have no such protection with cash.

I think your forgetting a couple of really important things for Disney. - Shorts. Don't wear a dress to Disney. You'll find it is more of a pain in the *** and you'll be much more comfortable wearing shorts - Walking shoes , for both Disney and the cruise. Disney you will do a ton of walking, and on the cruise some of the score excursions could require a lot of walking.. depending on what your destinations are or if your just going to the beach. They also usually have fitness centers and lots of activities like that, so they are just good to have. - I would bring more than 7 pairs of underwear. Always bring more than what you will need, especially if you are going to the beach, and swimming. You could be changing multiple times a day and you don't want to be wearing the same underwear all day, after wearing the same ones around disney. - Bring your hair straightener or curling mousse if you use it. If you don't you can always run out to Wal-Mart or Target while your down there. - Face Wash, Moisturizer - Tweezers - Chargers for Camera and Cell phone As for the plane, bring snacks because plane food sucks. Also, bring a book and your ipod. Going on a cruise is like being on a floating hotel. It will be air conditioned but it will be hot outside on the decks (especially since your going to the Bahamas!) - The only accessories I would take is a purse, and maybe some earrings. You don't want to lose a lot of things or over pack. - You will probably see cute guys. Tons of guys go to Disney and on cruises they have kids clubs where you can go hangout.. Not really kids clubs but a teen hangout place. Also on the beaches there will be guys. Too bad your not going to the islands where the legal age is 16 or 17. - If you get sick on the ship, you ask someone at the first-aid center for a special pill you can put behind your ears to stop the sea-sickness. - Most cruises have formal nights so bring a dress for that! - As for spending, thats perfect. If you don't have to buy food you should be fine. if you do, bring more. Also, Orlando has some great outlet - Prime Outlets and Premium Outlets. Check out their websites! Hope this helps

I've made a number of trips to other countries, including Europe, Asia and Latin America, and I always found that travelers checks are the safest. Carry one or two credit cards that don't have huge lines of credit on them in case they are stolen, and carry a small but reasonable amount of cash in your own currency and the currency of the country of destination. Use a money belt or under the clothes money pouch when you can too.

The best way to go would either be travelers checks or a card. Cash is not a good idea because it can get stolen. Enjoy!
