I was reading the papers the other days about travel companies slashing the prices of holidays in Turkey to an unbeliveable £20 or something.. anyone taken advantage of this or got an amazingly cheap holiday there recently?

It seems like an interesting and unique culture. Ive heard that in Germany and Holland everyone speaks English. I don't want to go to a place where the people are similar to Americans. Are the people really that rude?

Where you can get married? My mum is getting married out there next year and we are struggling to find one that is nice, yet affordable for all the guests that want to come along but haven't got huge budgets.

Hi, can anyone tell me what 'Juopon tuuri' means? I've been told it's not rude at all (and I do apologise if I've been lied to) My friend was apparently singing karaoke in Finland and everyone laughed and said this phrase...
Thanks sooooo much!

My fiancee and I are getting married next year. We don't want to do the typical tropical paradise get-away honeymoon. We were thinking of doing a European tour. Can anyone recommend anything along those lines? We aren't sure what countries we should visit and would like some advice on planning that trip before we talk to a travel agency.
