Don't do it even if it's free. Unless the price of your physical and/or mental integrity is as cheap as that.

It's now the off-season in Turkey, and a lot of the traditional holiday areas (eg Antalya, Bodrum, Kusadasi et al) are getting cold and rainy. This being said, you can stay in full-board pensions for about 50 YTL/night (1YTL: 1.9 euro)
Ramadan starts on Sunday, so that might affect your travel plans a bit. Foreigners are not expected to fast, however; it's rather a matter of being discreet.
And to you posters who wrote that the OP has a death wish, I've lived here for a long time (I'm a foreigner) and the worst thing that's happened to me is some guy trying to cop a feel. The few bombs that have gone off were trying to target Turks (though two in Istanbul went off in a predominantly Kurdish neighborhood). Turn off the FOX News already.

My daughter and boyfriend got a cheap holiday to Turkey it cost £230.00 each, all inclusive, flights and insurance ect with Thomas Cook. A bit more than what you said they booked it about four weeks ago and go soon.It is a good star hotel and everything paid for I thought that was ok.
Had a friend go to Rome for £99 all inclusive for two! Yes two but that was last year and booked the day before!

Definitely u would have the cheapest holiday in Turkey in Oct, Nov and Dec. I advice u to visit especially Marmaris, Bodrum or Fethiye. These are the south cities of Turkey and they r not cold and snowy in winter.
And I have to add that they are definitely safety, dont believe "Billy S" and "pianojono".
Good luck...
