I have a 10 day break from October 20-30 and I was wondering if Vienna is a good place to go then, or if it is something worth visiting only in the summer/fall?

It is always worth visiting. Plenty of fantastic museums, concerts, restaurants (especially on Kahlenberg hill). October should be particularly good as Vienna is the only capital city in Europe (or probably in the whole world) which has got working vineyards within its borders. Try heuriger - young white wine - with schnitzel. Wonderful!!!

Keep in mind Vienna will be cold then, But for any other reason go woman! Going to a foreign country and learning about the people there is one of the best learning tools you can possibly have! Besides do you really need an excuse to go to a different country and stay in a lovely hotel and listen to pretty people speak in a pretty language and have a darn good excuse to try and talk to gorgeous men to ask for directions, then because you cant possibly find it on your own have an excuse to have them show you? I know I don't!!

i think of Vienna is a incredibly cool city. there is plenty to ask your self around and spot yet in addition it is barely a funky place to grasp out and spend time. i think of it has a somewhat greater jap ecu feeling to it actual. Take a holiday on the huge ferris wheel at night. it is particularly the view. There are additionally some appealing cathedrals there.
