My work schedule will not allow for a more traditional time to visit, like spring or summer. I'd like to fly into Luxembourg and use rail to get around

I need some US products not found in Finland that maybe would be a good product to introduce to the Finns. Only those who actually know, please answer. Thank you.

Hey everyone,

Im an American studying abroad in Madrid area, with no class Fridays, can skip some class if needed, and I have these weekends open:
Oct 26-29
Nov 1-6
Nov 16-19
Nov 30-Dec3
Dec 7-10

The list of cities/countries to pick from: Italy (rome/venice/milan), Paris, Germany (any), Amsterdam, London, Prague, Switz (ski), Morocco. By the way, I realize that all probably aren't possible in the few dates I have.

RyanAir is cheap as heck, and with it I can probably do multiple cities in one weekend. With just three/four days per weekend I dont know if that is smart though.. thoughts? I think traveling from airport to airport in London is crazy expensive too, right? Are any of those weekends REALLY good times to visit any of those cities, in terms of party, weather, events? I need a lot of help, thanks everyone...

I want to get out of the U.S. for good. Any former Americans living happily as Norwegian residents (native norwegians are also encouraged to answer)? Should I learn the language before I get there? Is it difficult to learn? What's the day to day life like? How are immigrants treated by the public at large? How's the seasonal weather? I'd really like to live in Oslo, so if anyone can tell me how they like living in the city, I'd really appreciate it.

And anything about all these would be cool too: Health care? Laws I should know? How's the beer? Can I get Spaten there? Food? How are gays treated? How are cigarette smokers treated?

I am already familiar with EU immigration policies.

I am travelling to Europe (zurich, Milan, Venice) next week, would like to know what type of adaptor to use for my camera, handphone. kindly provide "links" or "photoes" of it (i know it is a round type one but never see it before).

Would like to buy a cheap adaptor to use at my neighbourhood so no need to buy a complete set of adaptor to keep.

thk

I have heard mixed things about whether or not electronics are allowed on flights leaving from Europe and headed to the US. Since I am planning to vacation to France in November and will be flying out of Paris to return to the States, I would like to know if I will be allowed to bring my PDA and DS Lite on the flight. Any thoughts or experiences?

Hi, anyone speak either of these two languages. I need the word for 'seasickness' in either of these languages. Apparently it's the same in both. I'd also REALLY appreciate it if you could try and write it phonetically as well so I'd have an idea how to pronounce it. I'm having a conversation about languages with someone who tells me that it's a really cool word. There doesn't seem to be an option to translate to Swedish or Norwegian on babelfish.
Thanks!

ok. well this is probabbly in shorthand because I got it off messenger with my bestfriend who likes to annoy my by talking in random languages. I've tried all the online dictionaries but its all in shorthand, so theres no use even trying. anyway, if someone could translate the following, I'd be more than greatful. thanks!

I want to get out of the US this summer and explore another country. I'd probably stay in hostels or something along those lines, backpacking around. Any suggestions, reference links or even books?
